Dark Chocolate

Since my last blog was before Christmas, it is probably time to put something out there again. Really, I should be better at this - no excuses, but I have been playing with Lynlee and loving it. Dark Chocolate seems like a good thing to blog about. Today after volleyball all the players were invited to take a taste test of 6 different brands of plain dark chocolate bars. We had water to cleanse our palates between bites. I was surprised at how difficult it was to remove all traces of the last bar in order to fairly judge the next. In the end, the texture and taste of one bar rose to the top. We were surprised to learn that the one most of us liked best was a bar from Trader Joe's. The taste testing was for a TV spot by Consumer Bob, the husband of one of our V-ball women. Last time he showed up, we all ate frozen chicken dinners. We like Bob. And the chocolate tasting made us like him even more. The spot will be on the local news a week from Saturday. So it's been a good day all the way around. Volleyball and then dark chocolate and then Lynlee. Doesn't get much better than that!
